Wspaniały pobyt! Pokój był czysty i komfortowy, a jacuzzi nagrzane dokładnie tak, jak prosiliśmy. João to wspaniały człowiek, który odpowiadał nam na wszystkie pytania i bardzo pomógł w organizacji prania oraz taksówki na lotnisko.

Lokalizacja jest daleko od wszystkiego, ale z wynajętym autem nie robi to aż takiego problemu.

The villa itself is wonderful. The pool, although cold, is clean and lovely, the hot tub and sauna facilities are great, and the view is incredible. The beds were supremely comfortable.

The groundskeeper and the owner are WEIRD. At first we understood what was going on with other reviews but it became increasingly strange. When you arrive you are greeted by a faceless message giving you some basic information such as how to enter and get the keys etc. In this message it states that you need to book the sauna ahead of time (so the groundskeeper can heat it up), and shows you how to use the hot tub. When we actually got around to using the hot tub, the groundskeeper came up to us after a bit and turned the hot tub off, translated a message saying we cannot just use it we must book it in advance (no such information was ever given to us), and that the owner had been watching us on the CCTV for 30 minutes and that it was apparently a "bad look" that we were using it without permission (that we were never told we needed). All of this was well within normal hours for the facilities - around 17:30. Between just telling us things that are made up and watching us on the CCTV, this place never really felt relaxing. There is definitely the feeling of being watched, and coddled like children who cannot do anything without permission from the absent owner. I would not return.

We had a brilliant stay in Caniçal, Madeira, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The room was absolutely amazing - spotless, comfortable, ocean view and perfectly set up for a relaxing trip Our host, truly made the stay unforgettable. He was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and we really enjoyed spending time with him. João is the absolute man - so generous with his time and knowledge of the island. He took us to Pico do Facho and Machico, shared loads of helpful tips and advice for getting around Madeira, and even made us poncha, which was a highlight in itself. The jacuzzi was fantastic. After being out all day exploring, coming back and relaxing in the jacuzzi was exactly what we needed…it was incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating. All around, this was a fantastic trip and a stay we’ll remember for a long time. We 100% recommend this place and would happily return. Thank you, João, for such an amazing experience!

A brilliant property with excellent value for money. The view from the pool & jacuzzi area was fantastic, you could see the whole village/sea from there. Lovely friendly staff, very helpful and prompt replies for any questions or help needed regarding the area, restaurants, car rental etc. We'll hopefully get the opportunity to return soon, and until then, we're recommending this venue 100%!
