Great views, lovely staff and great rooms

So and her family are super lovely and will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and looked after in any way they can. Wish I'd spent an extra night up there instead of in Sa Pa itself.

Very beautiful area. Staff was awesome. They had a wedding just wrap up when we checked in so there was lots of family around and they invited us to join them several times

Cold cold cold. While the electric blanket was great in the room in the dining area they need either a fireplace or some portable heaters.

To stay with our host family was a privilege of local hospitality. Our host, So, was incredibly generous with her time and local knowledge, organisation and incredible food. It is an easy five star experience for those who want to experience a simpler village life where you are welcomed into the community with stunning landscapes and hikes.

If you go during winter, prepare with very warm clothes. The homes are built to have the family gather around a small fire or be warm in bed, but most restaurants are open air and not insulated. It’s the way the locals live and it’s an interesting experience.

What an amazing place run by amazing ladies. Even though our weather was pretty bad, cold and foggy, So and her sister in law made sure we were enjoying our stay. We did a walking tour with So, she showed us around her and other villages, we had a great lunch and learned a lot about Hmong culture. The second day we went for a motorcycle tour (we had our own) and So was also our tour guide. Even though the weather was really bad we still enjoyed the stops we made on the way. I was able to help in the kitchen one night and learn a little bit about their cuisine. Every dish they prepared for us was absolutely delicious. 100% want to come back in the near future and highly recommend to everyone who wants to spend some tranquil time near Sapa, surrounded by rice fields, great meals and authentic Hmong culture.

I highly recommend this homestay. The owner is very kind and the location of the property is fantastic. We took advantage of the services offered (4-hour trekking and scooter tour of the rice fields) both with local guides who took us to areas not frequented by tourists.
