Hmong Eco Villas

A really lovely place. Fortunately the weather was great and the views were amazing. I was able to take long walks using Google maps and this allowed me to try some local restaurants. Food at the homestay was great too.

The location was ideal for exploring the valleys. The tours were well arranged by the owner and they were always on hand to assist with enquires and provide help. An electric blanket on the bed was thoughtful at that time of year.

The tours are a little expensive.

Amazing view on the rice fields, the host was super nice, available, and helpful (with early breakfast and taxi arrangements) and the room was confortable. I recommend 100% and would have loved to stay longer! Don't hesitate to contact the host to help you find a taxi coming all the way up (unlike us lol, as not all grab taxis go up to the address)

The host, Ms. So, was an excellent host, speaks good English, and she and her team provided very good service. The homestay was nice, clean and comfortable, and the views were amazing. The location is away from Sapa town in a hilly area that is not accessible by large vehicles. However, this is what puts you among the rice terraces.

There was a cold spell and it was rather cold because there was no heater due power constraints. Nevertheless, there were heated blankets, which were effective.

Beautiful place in the middle of nature, far away from Sa Pa’s caos. The hosts are really kind and efficient. So, the manager, is just perfect! Food is great as well and prices are very low for the location. Totally suggested!

One of our favorite places during our trip around Vietnam. Very helpful staff – you can organize trekking directly on site. Meals are available at the property. Stunning view from the terrace.

I recommend booking transportation through them as Grab drivers had trouble finding the place.

We only stayed one night due to bad weather so keep that in mind when reading the review. The homestay itself is lovely. The house is well maintained and the family you stay with is very welcoming:) the bed had a heated mattress which let us sleep comfortably even when it was cold outside (and in the house). During our stay it was very foggy so we couldn’t see anything but if you have clear skies the views would be great. The food was really good and fresh and you had a great choice of dishes! Pretty much like a restaurant:)

The house is, as other reviews have stated, far out (about 30min by taxi, rate 300 000vnd) this wouldn’t be a problem if the weather is nice enough and you are hiking around but it makes it more difficult to go the a restaurant or something spontaneously. During our stay the weather was cold and foggy and unfortunately the house is not heated. If you are very sensitive this could be a problem but the host also lit a fire downstairs and gave extra blankets. The heated mattress also made sleeping really comfortable. It’s just something to keep in mind.

The whole place is less about hospitality than about making money. Half of the "food" menu is trying to sell hiking tours. No kettle, free water and tea in the room like in 99% of all places in Vietnam. You have not many alternatives to have dinner in the area and they know it. The food in the restaurant was pricey but very ordinary.
