Very clean, very well kept, polite and helpful host. Generally a very good stay and for a very reasonable price. Kettle with tea and coffee and a mini fridge in room Very very clean and tidy, and the host sorted the couple of minor problems immediately (see below)

Not a lot, but just for feedback - noisy door slamming sometimes. Not sure if it was other guest or host family members. Shared bathroom and other guest took a bath right after I arrived. Had to use downstairs (host) toilet. Pillows were too firm/thick but host changed them for second night which was great. Shower had a leak at the tap after I switched it off which meant water was still coming out but host was aware this was occurring and it was fixed within 20mins. Not an issue for the rest of my stay.

Great location, great parking, nice room, great VFM.

I was arriving late, I spoke to a person on the number provided and was told it was not a problem. The key would be in the key safe. I received a call, which I couldn't answer, from a different number. I had a voice message left, which I couldn't respond to, asking where I was and stating it was a 10pm cut-off. Feeling I had already explained my curmsrances to the registered contact number, I made my way to the premises. There was no key in the key lock, so I called the number. The hosts were in bed, but they basically said, "Tough, it's 10 pm cut-off, so there no access." I had to pleed that I am 257 miles from home, its -2 degrees, its 23:35, what do you expect me to do? I stated the earlier conversation, and eventually, thankfully, they relented and let me in. For the result, I am obviously thankful. I understand that it's not a hotel but I'd suggest that communication could be better. Once in, nice room, clean and definitely VFM.

Location and the ambient temperature was good. Walk-in Shower was good

I couldn't lock the room door as it was broken. This made me feel uncomfortable and insecure. No television
