Cosy character cottage in central Marlborough UK

Everything about Wren Cottage was superb! We loved how cosy it was, so full of character and the location to Marlborough High Street couldn't have been any better. The stairs to the shower room are steep and narrow but, after a couple of trips up and down, we soon got the hang of it!

The only downside was lack of parking. We drove around about 4 times, looking for a space. We finally managed to park on the hill around the corner where there were no restrictions at all.

La ubicación del baño es muy incomoda, al final de una escalera estrecha y con mucha pendiente. Aunque el alojamiento es muy atractivo, es muy incómodo al estar el baño separado del dormitorio por dos tramos de escalera.

I came for the weekend for a friend’s wedding. The cottage is gorgeous with lots of quirky features, the location is perfect, and John the owner was really friendly and helpful.

Quirk and full of character but warm and cosy and well kitted out for a stay away. Great central location. 2 mins walk from the high street.

Absolutely loved the whole building it’s full of character almost taking you back in time with its quirkiness, our biggest regret was only staying 1 night , but we definitely will go back again for longer.

If being exceptionally petty the bathroom is on the other side of the building to the bedroom down the stairs through the lounge and up another staircase and parking is not ideal

Very quirky, great location and very comfortable.

Location close to High Street with bags of period detail.

For some guests the layout would be problematic. To get from the bedroom to the lavatory there were two flights of stairs.

Delightful quirky cottage, with lots of period character, within easy walking distance to Marlborough High street. Excellent facilities throughout, and the owner was very responsive to queries.
