Sea view retreat

Lovely location and outlook. Apartment clean and well presented. Appreciated being allowed slightly earlier access - thank you. A pleasant stay with shops close by and the opportunity to see the sea and watch the world go by. Nice to have the facilities of two bathrooms and supplies provided in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.

Entrance hall and stairs to the apartment in very poor condition. I didn’t realise there was no work surface in the kitchen, but coped with draining board and a couple of useful additions like tin opener/bottle opener and dish for microwave would be a bonus.

We absolutely loved the location. It was about as near as the coastline that you could get. Watching the tide on one gusty evening was mesmerising. As both myself and my sister are "Elders" we did not venture out in the evening. There was excellent viewing on the TV if that is your thing. Games also provided . Nothing seemed too much trouble. The apartment was tastefully decorated also.

The parking situation was not very good although we were lucky to find a place in a street further back, but felt a little uncomfortable leaving the car, but as it turned out, we worried unnecessarily. Another little drawback was we felt there was not enough towels. One large one small, was difficult when washing our hairand using for showers. The entrance to the apartment and the stairs were a little shabby, but we were not put off by it.

The view was beautiful, and the apartment had a separate bedroom with its own bath, a sitting area and a dinette. The bathrooms were very nice but the shower took a bit of getting accustomed to as it has a unique water heater/water supply system. The apartment was very nice.

There is no a/c. It only has a fan. Most of the time this would not be an issue, but we had a bit of a heat wave when we visited. We survived easily enough. Parking is not at the apartment, but that is only a small inconvenience.

The view was stunning, we could look at it all day! Very clean. The location was amazing, and we were able to leave our car close by, for free, all weekend. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable. Good to have 2 bathrooms and 2 loos in such a small flat!

Kitchenette was very small with no real workshop to use. Shared hallway and front of building are very shabby... they don't match the quality of the flat at all! The sofa was uncomfortable. It needs double/ triple glazing, at it's VERY noisy at night at the front and back of the property.
