In our recent visit to Kashmir we stayed at the Altaf houseboat and It was an amazing experience.The houseboat is remarkably clean and beautiful.Mr Ghulam and his team was very helpful in guiding us with the itinerary & everything, which made our trip very smooth. I would definitely recommend Altaf boat house for your stay at Srinagar.

Nothing to dislike

Staying at the altaf Houseboat felt like stepping into a painting. The calm waters of Dal Lake mirrored the vibrant sky, and the ornate woodwork of the houseboat offered an old-world charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff went above and beyond, serving us a warm, home-cooked Kashmiri meal under a canopy of stars. While the shower pressure could use an upgrade, the overall experience was magical. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a slice of Kashmiri culture, this is the place to be. Highly recommend it for a unique, once-in-a-lifetime stay

Very very good experience at this house boat. We were treated like kings and the food was very very good and tasty. The houseboat is very very clean and hygienic. The location is top class with best views of the mountains and lakes and forts. The roof top was the best that no houseboat has. Highly recommend. Just close your eyes and book the Altaf houseboats
