The was an older man who was very kind. If you want an authentic boathouse experience, this is it.

In our view the boat is not clean, it is old and not comfortable. The bed is very hard. You are also a walking wallet to some people, they try to make you spend more money than you should. Check online for prices, for taxi’s, etc. It is a shame because this way you lose a human connection, things become superficial and are oftentimes transactional.

We really liked our stay at this houseboat.Danish bhai is very helpful. He arranged tour itinerary for us and the driver was also very nice. Food was delicious.

The rooms are clean and tidey. Everything in room is at place and according to culture of Kashmir. Enjoyed food. Best quality maintained. Delicious. All staff are very polite. Especially Mr Danish helps a lot. Overall Enjoyed a stay at Altaf House boats. Thanks
