House boat is really clean, ample of space, beautiful houseboat, staff and caretaker MD. Qadir khan is really courteous and helpful. Food is freshly prepared and really good. Keep up the good work

My houseboat experience was amazing! All the facilities were available, and the food was fresh and delicious. I would personally recommend it to everyone visiting Dal Lake to stay at Altaf House and Thank you to Altaf Group of Houseboats team for the best service

The boat was clean and comfortable.

The boat didn't have heating, so it was incredibly cold. The owner was trying to scam me every day with a different thing. He would say there was no Uber there and I needed to take his taxi, I used Uber and it was perfect. He tried to charge me 2000 to go to the Shankaracharya Temple by taxi. I got a driver for 4 hours for 800 who took me there and many other places. He wanted to charge me 1200 to take me to the airport, when I said I already had a 600 taxi booked, he told me it would only take me up until 1km away from the airport, at the security stop, and leave me there. That didn't happen, the taxi was wonderful. Beware of this because he will lie to you at any cost to sell you extremely overpriced services - a true conman! Even his friends were laughing when he was telling me the airport taxi stuff. To top it off, one of the staff members asked me for a tip for having cleaned my room PRIOR to my arrival, as he didn't clean it during it. Believe it or not, he said he wasn't paid to do it and just sustained himself off the tips of people (I didn't believe him, they are all liars).

Hospitality at it's peak. Ambience was great, staff was humble and the food was delicious. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Would love to recommend this place

A houseboat in dal lake where you feel like a home. One of the best houseboat to stay in Srinagar. We stayed there and enjoyed our trip in that houseboat. Views are awesome from the boat. Rooms are also very nice.

It was an amazing experience overall. Had the most lively days out there .Having people like hassan bhai throughout with us is a great blessing itself. The whole team will make you feel like hommiesss. And also how can I not mention about the owner. He is really a humble person. Will stay connected with you throughout. Highly appreciated and recommended. Thankyou so much 😊
