What a great stay. Yes this is the best houseboat with all the great facilities and best location.The rooms are very neat and clean with spacious rooms fitted with all the modern facilities. We had the best home made food with lots of varieties. The staff is always available. We stayed for three nights and this houseboat has the best heating and we were warm in cold kashmir. We even enjoyed their best roof top. Highly recommend. Enjoy your stay....

These are are very very neat and clean with big rooms and we got extra beds for our childrens and all the houseboat is spacious,Mr Javed the manager is always available to help you for all the information you need for Kashmir. Lovely experience staying at these houseboats and the staff is very very good and they take special care to all the tourists. The food quality was like home made and there were other travelers staying at these houseboats and every one enjoyed their food. These are the best houseboats one should stay.

I had really high hopes for my houseboat stay—it’s one of those things you see on Instagram and think, I have to experience this at least once. Sadly, the reality was far from what I imagined. First, let me start with the good. They sent someone to pick us up from the airport, and he was right on time, which was nice. Of course, the pickup wasn’t free, but it was convenient. Now for the actual experience. The houseboat we were put on was in terrible condition. It was freezing cold, and there were constant power cuts. The guy who greeted us didn’t exactly set a warm tone either—he handed us a list of rules like we were checking into some strict hostel. It felt like we were more of a bother to them than guests. Breakfast was a joke. We’d order something simple like upma or bread and butter, and it would take over an hour to arrive. For a place that’s supposed to be a luxurious experience, the service was seriously disappointing. Here’s the kicker: after four days of our six-day stay, they suddenly told us the boat needed maintenance and moved us to another houseboat. The new boat was way better—warmer, cleaner, and just overall nicer. It made me wonder why they didn’t put us there from the start. They claimed it was an “upgrade” for staying more than four days, but it was clear they had this boat available the whole time. To make things worse, on our last day, we saw them bring another family onto the first boat—the one that was supposedly going into “maintenance.” The family looked so disappointed when they saw it, and I could totally relate. I wanted to warn them about what to expect, but the houseboat crew was hovering around us the whole time, so we couldn’t even have a proper conversation. Honestly, staying on a houseboat was nothing like what you see on social media. It was uncomfortable, frustrating, and felt like a complete rip-off. I had an amazing experience of staying at this boathouse. The warmth and hospitality were evident from the moment we arrived. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped with room heater (bukhari) and electric blankets that made the chilly nights incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent and the food was delicious as well.

This place was cozy and luxurious at the same time . The rooms are very big and the toilet is very clean . The experience here was very good for the first time in the boat house . U can buy a lot of stuffs from the local ppl from here . The food by raeesand riaz (chefs) was very very delicious specially the chicken kabab and chapati . This boat house is 100% recommended to all the new comers or tourist for a boat house experience.

Best Group of Houseboats in Srinagar" We checked-in as family of 4. Awesome Location, they send their Shikara to pickup us up from Ghat of Dal Lake. The Manager and his team was there to welcome us upon arrival, offered us High Tea, they also arrange Shikara for Evening Tour of the Dal Lake. ROOMS are very big and spacious and CLEAN and Hygienic. They maintain all kinds of rules and regulations and proper cleaning. Beds are Great, Views are Great, Space and Washrooms are more good than expected.. We were very pleased and humbled by the Kindness and Etiquettes of their team. They offer everything they could and they do their best. They are kind person. It was a 5- STAR experience.
