The staff and the location were excellent.

The room was a little run down. Horrible, cheap decor. The windows were falling apart.

"A wonderful, restored historical hotel."

The location in the down town level, walking distance to so much, the history of the hotel and very comfortable accommodations! We had a sitting room, a kitchenette, large bathroom and comfortable bed. Beautifully and historically appointed hotel was lovely to look, almost like a museum.

The only thing we didn’t like was having our room on the 3rd floor which meant two long flights of stairs. Fortunately we travel light so not a problem with us for luggage. Good cardio!

"Charming, unique hotel with lovely staff/service"

Really charming property, with each room themed and decorated uniquely. Service was wonderful; every staff member we interacted with was so lovely and helpful.

The beds were fine but not the most comfortable to sleep on. Our room was on the side facing the street, and the windows/walls are thin enough that some early morning car/truck noise (and seagulls!) woke us up earlier than we’d planned. I assume rooms that are not facing the street are quieter, though!
