"Fun and quirky hotel right in the heart of town"

The staff was great and while we didn't ask for cleaning, housekeeping was happy to let us switch out the towels. Building is quirky and interesting, and we really liked all the different lounge-type areas with antique furniture and lots of books and games. Good place to hang out in bad weather or when shops/restaurants are closed. Quite near the wonderful Rose Theatre and the Starlight Room, and our fave shop House of the Faun.

There were a LOT of stairs. While this wasn't much of an issue for us, it was definitely a factor in whether or not we went back for our umbrella! Also, there was a party going on in the room around the corner from us with loud voices and much coming and going long after 10 PM. Expect that it's a lively place with not much to dampen sound between areas and rooms, if you are sensitive to that.

It was perfect for what me and my husband was looking for! The location is perfect for exploring shops and dinning! Definitely 5 star hotel! Staff was very kind and helpful!

Nice size bathroom, enough room for wheelchair use. Very much appreciated a walk in shower rather than a bathtub that you have to step into.

We came in early and the front desk indicated that the room requested wasn't available and switched us to another room on the same floor. We've been at this hotel before and are well aware there isn't an elevator, so staying on the 2nd floor was important to us. Didn't realize however that it was a much smaller room than the one we stayed in previously and in the very early morning we would have extended noise from the garbage/recycling truck. No matter though, it's just something else to remember to ask about the next time we book.

The location is amazing! In the heart of historic downtown.

No elevator. The ceilings are high so the stairs are long!
