Trang Toan Hotel

We booked a tour with the staff, which was great, and a bus to Ninh Binh. They also provided breakfast, that was simple but satisfactory. They offered us more blankets as the nights were cold when we were staying.

There wasn’t always someone at the reception so we had to sometimes go back few times to be able to speak to someone.

The room and bathroom were clean and pretty spacious, the location is in the center but in a quiet side street. Simple but good room for travelers on a budget

Nice place close to the sea. Very spacious room with two beds. Nice breakfast included in the price. Great option if you don’t want to spend much money and be close to the main street

Room could have been a bit cleaner but it was fine for us. There were nothing like a check-in we barely talk to someone during our stay

The Trang Toan Hotel has a good location, is located in backyard (not on main street) so the noice from the street is not so loud. The family is very friendly, they left us to check-in earlier at about 10:00, they have more options for breakfast,but it was very average and small portions. We like very much and would definitely recommend is the daily boat trip to Ha Long (we ordered the trip via family),, which exceeded our expectations and was amazing! (via Cat Ba amazing). The family (and we as well with tears on edge sometimes :( ) was very sorry for disaster,which left in Cat Ba the tajfoon Yagi from 7th september- it destroyed many infrastrukture, ,hotels, street lights, electricity and as well nature on Cat Ba- it was very visible there, local people are trying their best to repair as much as possible and as quickly as possible befreundet starting the new touristic.season.

We ordered the room with Mountain view and we got the view in backyard,which was really not nice (view on tons of construction material and garbage)- but we understand this, as we came earlier after whole night journey with bus from Sapa and checked-in earlier, so our room was most probably not ready at the time of our arrival. For short stays (1- 2 nights) it was bearable. Unfortunately the room was very moist, you can feel the mould in the air and the AC did not help us to dry the air, as the filters in AC were most probably not for longer time cleaned. We could not sleep well and had some caught afterwards. The owners could not speak english at all.
