Loved the location and views! It was very homely! 😊😊 Will definitely be booking again!

We walked into apartment & there was a washing basket with sheets, towels etc. Check in was 4pm, we arrived 4.15pm to dirty towels, bed not made, dirty cups on sink, dirty bathroom, rubbish, fridge full of food! Owner not contactable! Finally heard from owner at 8pm to say it wasn't cleaned!! By this time we had rebooked elsewhere, we weren't staying in a filthy apartment!

Lovely little house in the marina, nice walk to the city, we really enjoyed our stay.

The property is fantastically located on the brighton marina. Walking distance to the restaurants & Asda.

The property itself could be stunning with a few little extra touches, however it clearly isn’t looked after all that well. Apart from it smelling, having sticky sides & generally dirty I found a bag of cocaine in the bed & a crack pipe im the kitchen cupboard. Again if it was cleaned properly these would have been found. It just felt abit grubby & I had to by cleaning bits from Asda.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS REVIEW I booked this property for a two-night stay with my partner. We asked the host if we could check in early, which was granted. We arrived at 14:00 (not the usual 16:00). We arrived and immediately felt uncomfortable. The kitchen surfaces were disgusting, with food debris and a soaking wet tea towel left out. I was never going to prep or cook anything in that kitchen! The plug hole had old food and hair in it. The fridge contained expired items, hair, and filth. The dishwasher still had dirty plates cutlery in, the curtains were hanging off the pole, and there was hair and dust all over the sofa. The floors and the rug by the sofa had clearly not been hoovered or cleaned in a while. The TV stand was also dusty, indicating it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The place smells musty. We usually tour around in our camper and I have been to better campsites than this!!! I can only add a few pictures to this review which is annoying as I have many, plus a video of all the filth. I contacted the host immediately, who said they would send the cleaner back and blamed the early check-in for the mess. However, the filth was clearly weeks old, not just a few hours. It felt like we had arrived at someone's dirty flat. We left the property after taking pictures and videos and had to find alternative accommodation for another £250. The host is refusing a refund and has not acknowledged or accepted any blame. It is appalling that this property is allowed to take people's money. There might have been a time when this place was lovely, but it certainly isn't now. DO NOT BOOK.

Location was the only positive but it couldn’t make up for how bad the property was or the service provided

The property was absolutely filthy, and I mean FILTHY, stinky, dirty, covered in grime. Could use the sofa because of the stale body odour. The floors were a ‘wipe your feet on the way out’ situation. Old food left rotting in cupboards and fridge. The only thing that had been cleaned was the bedding. Reported all of this to the host/property manager by phone, immediately followed up with photos and videos as requested for him to never respond to me again. I complained to booking.com for them to not even provide an outcome despite having to provide all the evidence of messages and how much of a state the property was in. Randomly got a message saying I had a credit which I do not want. Unbelievable to charge £300 for a one-night stay in a place so unclean. I have stayed in so many places and never once complained or written a negative review but the total lack of accountability on both parts and suitable compensation leaves me with no choice.
