Villa green Eden

Great little villa with everything we needed. Deceptively spacious and with great views. Up in the hills, but the little shuttle bus is only a WhatsApp message away (I think it runs 8am-12, then 4pm-midnight) and it takes you straight into Sorrento. Great places to eat just a few minutes walk away, Franco's Pizza was a favourite!

Comfortable, spacious, fabulous views, as villa is situated up on the hill Carmine, who is the villa contact was so helpful, always available on WhatsApp. Free small shuttle is available everyday 8 - 12 then 4 - 12 which was very welcome. Not a suitable walk if assistance is required, but otherwise doable during the day.

Nothing to dislike, although a small welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, would be helpful

Beautiful property with lots of natural light and beautiful views. It was a unique experience indeed. Owner of the property is super nice and gave us free oranges and lemons straight from the trees in the property.

You absolutely CANNOT drive a regular car to get to the actual property. The road leading to the house is beautiful and scenic but is too small for a modern car to fit through. We had to park our car at a local grocery store that allows overnight parking for €24/day. The good thing is that there is a free shuttle that takes you to the place that is readily available between 0800-1200 and 1600-00:00. Outside of those shuttle hours you will have to walk to the property or find another capable means of transport.

Clean, modern property with beautiful view down to the sea. Pool for cooling down in hot weather.

Facilities were great. Lots of options for outside seating. Indoors the villa is modern and clean. Pool is small but great to cool down in and do some very short lengths! Views from pool, patio and living area are fantastic. Quiet area compared to the centre of Sorrento. Shuttle bus down to supermarket on outskirts of the main town (and back) was super handy as the hill is quite steep up to the property (and very narrow!). Drivers are nice guys.

Although very handy, the shuttle bus journey can be a bit of a shock to the system if you’re not used to it. If you ask the drivers politely to slow down a bit, they will!

This property was perfectly positioned away from the noise of the town, but still close by with beautiful views of the bay and the gardens. The complimentary shuttle into town with "Nello" seemingly anytime we needed was superb and very much appreciated. Villa was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, good showers and hot water and gardens and garden furniture all great. Was good to find some coffee in the cupboard for the first morning and some sort of biscuit bread and jam which kept us going until we got back into town.

I do not want this to detract from the excellent holiday we had at this property, or how lovely the property is. I need to check my emails as I am not too familiar with using booking.com, but I do not recall seeing an email telling me to meet the keyholder in town. I had to message the vendor Managers via whatsapp and was told we would be met with the keys. As a result we took a 6 seater taxi from the airport who could only take us to the bottom of the hill (due to the size of his car and the lane to the property) which meant we had a half a mile trek in the dark up a steep hill, with our suitcases not knowing where we were going. We had texted our contact to let him know we had landed and again when we were 5-10 mins away and he said he would wait for us (we assumed at the villa) finally met him just as we had found the property - but to know we could have met him in town would have saved a bit of stress (and energy!).

I cannot find the words to express what an amazing experience it was staying here! The property is unbelievable and far exceeded our expectations. The entire experience from the initial booking to check out was so stress-free. Carmine and Mario were on hand to answer any queries, and were so helpful! Unfortunately our drive to Sorrento took a lot longer than anticipated, meaning we needed to check in very late. Despite this, Carmine was there to greet us and ensure we got to the villa safely. The shuttle service had ended by the time we arrived, but the property owner very kindly came to collect us and transport us from the meeting point to the property. It was lovely to meet the owner and hear about how he had developed the property. He has literally thought of everything! The villa is spacious, extremely well-equipped and immaculately clean. The beds are so comfortable, and there are plenty of blankets etc if needed. The air conditioning was a godsend at times too! The outdoor area of the villa is unreal! There is ample furniture to allow you to spend time outdoors and take full advantage of the beautiful location, outstanding view, and gorgeous smells from the surrounding lemon groves. The pool is bigger than we had expected and is spotlessly clean. Our one reservation was the location (as we had originally booked an apartment right in the centre of Sorrento). Although Villa Green Eden appeared to be a little far out of town, we took a chance on it in order to have some outdoor space and a view to enjoy. We were so surprised to find that this property is ideally located, and is not far from the centre of Sorrento whatsoever. The shuttle service is convenient and the drivers of this service are absolutely lovely! If this is in your budget and you are considering booking, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic holiday home with lovely views to the sea. Lovely small outdoor pool. Very good shuttle bus service to and from the property down into the town. The house is very well equipped and the service provided by the host is excellent.

Very minor point - a better rate for car parking would be appreciated as it is not really practical to leave the car at the Villa. However the free shuttle is brilliant, and the host was very helpful in arranging a very early morning departure.
