Lovely location. Property so clean and spacious and inviting. Room and en-suite very clean and quiet. Great location for touring local area. Lovely relaxing continental breakfast. Hostess very nice next morning at breakfast and very helpful.

"More motel than country house!"

Location was excellent for visiting Newcastle and also for mountain biking and walking

We weren’t met and greeted- not even a message to check if all was ok. We only saw owner when we were walking out the door. There was no information in our room (the information folder referred to was missing) and we had to fend for ourselves at breakfast although the owner’s son who was very young was walking in and out but didn’t engage in conversation. The floor to the shower felt greasy but otherwise the room was very clean and the bed reasonably comfortable albeit a bit too soft for us. It was good value for money though.

Very nice fresh fruit and breads, well presented, clean and comfortable place to eat. Staff were helpful and friendly.
