The guest house was quaint and comfortable with magnificent views of mountain and lovely gardens. I loved the fact we could bring our dog. It was the main reason we booked here and we appreciated it. It is a family friendly guest house.

The guest house is currently doing work and some renovations to improve the property, however this did not impact our stay or experience in any way.

This is more like a hostel

We stayed in Briers a couple of weeks ago and we were shocked by the very poor breakfast .It was like a hostel , no cooked breakfast .The breakfast area was dirty , no coffee machine .A half opened sliced pan and two jars of berries in the fridge .A choice of 3 cereals , v poor .The guest house has no hot tub/ sauna as advertised .It is under new management but not fit for purpose .The room was clean but my curtains didn’t close ,door knob fell off .I thought I was staying in Faulty towers .We paid 230 pounds for two night .I would not recommend this guest house .No staff around , just the owner in dirthy overall

The location was perfect and the garden was lovely.

The beds weren't very comfortable and we didn't have enough towels for 3 people but this was quickly resolved on asking more.We had little bathroom privacy as window was clearly visible from garden and the blind was not adequate. There were cobwebs in the bathroom corners of ceiling.

Great value for money. We were able to bring our dog which is amazing. The bedding was very comfortable and breakfast was decent. Great location also lots to do around the place.
