The property was going through some renovations so no bar or restaurant, which was fine for us, but may put off others, but owner assured us he was not far away from completing both

Briers a hidden jewel on Newcastle , Changed hands and the owners couldn't be anymore friendly or accommodating. Changes happening to enhance the venue which is minimal disruption to staying considering the amount of work being achieved. Didnt effect my stay and pet friendly is always a plus. Room revamp was very peaceful stay and scenery is stunning

All's well . New owners eager to please and accommodate. Very friendly and nothing is a bother .

Lovely site in the country Well maintained building and facilities,. Silence at night great. Short 5 minute drive to Newcastle town and beach

Only problem was the digital TV signal kept breaking up so watching was not possible. Nil else amiss
