The Aviary Hotel

The staff, restaurants, swimming pools and the location. I highly recommend the Aviary. You are a name not a number. The level of service is high, as is the quality of the food. The swimming pools are also a joy and it"s a gentle stroll to all of the action in town. I wouldn't contemplate staying anywhere else in Siem Reap in the future

The gym wasn't great but a really good one is just a few minutes down the road.

We were thrilled with our stay at The Aviary. The room was fabulous, very peaceful and quiet. We were very grateful for an upgrade, and the superior room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond in making our stay relaxing. One of the hotel’s tuk-tuk drivers, Mr Kheang, who we hired for two days was hospitable, obliging and friendly. Equally, one of the barmen at the rooftop Glide Bar, Vireak, was particularly welcoming and accommodating. The hotel location was perfect and the breakfast excellent. We’d highly recommend this hotel and give our thanks to the wonderful staff.

From the minute we arrived and throughout the staff were amazing. They were polite friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is lovely, it has a real open air feeling with lots of greenery and it has two great pools. It is in an excellent location in the centre of Siem Reap. The extras made it special though. You can easily hire the in-house remorques (tuk-tuks) with driver for a couple of hours or for the full day to go around the temples of Angkor to your own itinerary and at your own pace. Without any stress. The drivers were so friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent - within walking distance to the river and markets. The room was spacious and garden was green and calming. Breakfast had cook to order food like omelette, noodles and rice dishes.

This property is gorgeous. We loved hanging out at the rooftop pool. Siem Reap was hot and humid and the Aviary was a lovely tranquil place to relax after our early morning excursions. The staff were super helpful with driver and guide bookings. Mr Mau was our fabulous, friendly remork driver, always smiling. Breakfasts were superb, freshly cooked eggs and freshly cut fruit, and still available on our return from the sunrise visit to Angkor Wat. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Japanese restaurant next door and local chocolate from the nearby coffee / chocolate shop.

Beautiful design, two lovely swimming pools, huge room, incredible staff, great breakfast (add on to your stay when booking as it’s definitely worth it), did I mention how amazing the staff are?! We absolutely loved The Aviary.
