Brae Guesthouse

The location was good to travel into Edinburgh and the owner was available by phone to answer our questions, he was also helpful in my having my oxygen cyclinders delivered which I am reliant on. The front garden area looks beautiful with all the lovely flowers and the hallway and stairs were clean with an array of information for the area which was helpful.

Firstly I would like to point out that it was my fault for forgetting to request a downstairs room (I am recently recovering from Pneomonia and reliant on oxygen), so taking the stairs to the 1st floor was hard work, we were however offered (possibly) a downstairs room but by that point we had decided not to stay the full 4 days (we stayed one night). Our room which was the large family room at the front of the building was very tired, the bedding made me feel uneasy and although the middle of the floor was hoovered and clean around the perimeters were not. There was only one small wardrobe which was not ideal and no mirror in the main room. There were two chairs by the front window which looked out to the front with window sills that had seen better days and marks on the carpet. Tea and coffee making facilities were availale but no fresh drinking water, although he did say the cold bathroom water tap was acceptable. For the price we paid for this room I was very disappointed. I am still waiting to hear back to find out if they will offer a discount as I had paid in full before arriving.

El cuarto era muy lindo y camas cómodas , contaba con un pequeño frigobar y calentador de agua para café y te , televisión y en el baño había calefacción ya q Edimburgo es frío , el acceso fue fácil y amablemente nos permitieron entrar antes de la hora a la habitación ya que llegamos temprano. La parada de autobús está exactamente frente al hotel y a unos 15 minutos del centro , el barrio es tranquilo y caminando hay áreas verdes muy lindas y un super a unos 15 minutos a pie

Todo fue super ! Quizás solo si incluyeran un microondas en el cuarto sería genial

Muy cómoda y limpia. Tiene un mini refri que ayuda mucho.

Ruime kamer en perfecte locatie. Bushalte recht tegenover de B&B waarmee je elke 10 min naar t centrum van Edinburgh kunt.

M’n partner is 1.96, daarvoor was het bed in de lengte wat te kort en mede door de vaste achterkant van het ledikant.

Ottima posizione, collegato benissimo con gli autobus e vicino ci sono molti supermercati, ristoranti e bakery. Camera confortevole e calda, bagno in camera piccolo ma con tutto ciò che serve, doccia con temperatura acqua ottima e pressione dell'acqua fantastica. Il check in e check out autonomo ti da la possibilità di essere flessibile con gli orari di check out. Ci siamo trovate benissimo.

Very nice location, walkable to grocery and easy access to public transportation

Very outdated and in need of some renovation. I was in the single room, the room had too much furniture for the size of the room. Bed frame was wobbly and the coffee stand was a table the looked like it was cut in half. Walls need to be repaired and painted. The bathroom for this room was private, however you had to go down the hall and be sure to take keys otherwise you would be locked out, this was a very inconvenient set up.
