booked this last minute for a short birthday staycation with my mom ,checked in 8.30 pm, the front desk manager started acting creepy after the checkin process! , i had called the property and spoken to him in advance for a cute quite birthday, with balloons & cake in the room, using our own upholstery so that sheets don't get dirty with the cake wtc..they agreed saying, as long as two guests check in & no rules are volatiled we can ! Same was communicated on the front desk ...he quietly let us checkin but as soon as he realized we were two women alone in the room things took a creepy turn instead of making us feel safe & allowing a peaceful stay he kept walking into our room the entire night & wouldn't leave the room for hours at a stretch trying to show us how they do wedding decors and stuff..kept opening the room without informing or knocking & when we objected he said its a protcol to check for damages in the room ? What kind of people check damages while people are staying inside ? How were few roses ballon & cake damaging the room? If cutting cake in room was was such an issue then why let us check in? that encouraged other staffers to do the same & later multiple men keep showing up to see how the room was "decorated" under this false pretext of checking for damages in the room Things got so uncomfortable & scary that we left that place at 1 am ! When i came back to handover keys morning checkout he tried to harass me more. Even oyo area manager noel didn't realize the gravity of this issue I have travelled the world with my senior citizen mother ,never encountered such a strong hospitality bias towards women ,if anything people everwhere have been kind & upgraded our travel experiences
