Great location for a larger group of people

House could be better furnished with cutlery, crockery and consumables. All knives are blunt. Recommend you pack your own sharp knives, extra glasses and plates, corkscrew etc.

Nothing bad to report at all

Beautiful house with a lot of potential. Incorrectly paid twice and had no problem getting a refund. Owner was very accommodating with a later check in after plans had changed.

House was beautiful and comfortable but there were a few things that needed repair in the house.

It was awesome, would definitely go again.

The road was not good, especially for a smaller car. The property needs some maintenance. The grounds are not well kept. A lot of litter lying around. We also did not receive our wood for the fire even after requesting it. There is not much to do on site. The house was clean, but baths very slow to drain.

We struggle a bit with WiFi but finally got it right

The house was beautiful, with awesome furniture. It was indeed ideal for a family group, big and comfortable able to accomodate family and visiting friends for new years braai. On new year as it was raining family had a lovely and comfortable stay in. The house had sound proof walls once you get into your bedroom the noise was locked out. I loved the fact that each bedroom had a blanket.... High 5. Plates and cuttlery was enough for the big group. The handyman was friendly and always available to help.

1. Getting to the house was a really nightmare, it seemed too far with terrible road. 2. The ad said "activities onsite and around the area". *There was absolutley no activities on site. 3. The area surrounding the house was really not properly kept. The grass needed to be beautiful kept and cut. 4. The road to the house untravellable in rainy weather, we were worried we might be stuck in. 5. I used the main bedroom upstairs which had a lovely balcony which was unfortunately very dirty. Lots of soil and birds poo on opening the door. 6. In that bathroom the toilet and the hand basin were leaking. The water from the bath was very slow to drain, therefore leaving the bath dirty. 7. The house is big enough to accomodate 14 people yet the pots are too small, we had only one big pot.
