Thula Guest Farm

The house is amazing, most things needed for a weekend away was available. the whole group was comfortable and would stay at your lovely house. We have wonderful memories of a great weekend away.

A couple of issues, - there is no large saucepan in the kitchen to cook for a large group. - the blond dog, which was really welcome and moved in when we were there, looked very under nourished. - all knives were very blunt, and we could not cut even lemons, tomatoes etc.

It’s big and spacious , lots of sleeping space. Simon the care taker is friendly and helpful and tries his best to assist you with what ever you need

The bathrooms situation , out of two bedrooms upstairs had a shower , the other bedroom had a tub. The host wasn’t clear in terms of if there was showers or tubs in each room Downstairs the two bedrooms had tubs as well and a shower in the middle to share The property only provided toilet paper on the first day and we had to go buy the next day, we were never made aware that toilet paper would only be provided for the first day , we had 9 people in the house! The knives in the kitchen were so blunt that you couldn’t even cut bread! The one bedroom light didn’t work and the lights in dinning area was really dull

Service, communication and location

Kitchen not well equipped for 14 people (e.g. no large pots, not enough pans, etc.). Poor WiFi and data ran out halfway through stay. Water problem on one of the days. No wood on the last.

Great for family get away. Rooms spacious and kitchen equipped. Signage could be better from main routes. Peaceful and felt safe.

One bed did not have sheets and dish clothes and Towels were available but not after requesting
