Lemon tree hotel

The meals Ken cooked for us were fresh and delicious. We also loved the herbal sauna - we weren't sure about doing it in the heat of summer but it made the night air feel cool and lovely!

Was such a nicely decorated and designed place to stay, the owner was very considerate and the property was so cute and neat.

Wish I could have stayed longer!

Just everything! Ken was a super nice host and we enjoyed our time at his place a lot.

Dinner and Breakfast is so good. Kentaro is so nice, even we can't speak Japanese, the conversation still smooth.

This is simply the best place we stayed at during our three weeks stay in Japan. We fell in love with the place and the Island — so peaceful. Kentaro has been so nice with us, he cooked the most delicious meals and we enjoyed so much our conversations. Everything was perfect, and I hope to be back.

Our stay at Lemon Tree was the best part of our Japan trip and we absolutely loved it. Kentaro and Kumi went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful in its rawness with a lot of thoughtful details. We loved our time sitting on the deck, watching the sunset and drinking delicious craft beer. We had two amazing dinners – probably the best food of the whole trip. The herbal tea and the herbal steam sauna were awesome too! Go for a walk to the lighthouse and don’t miss out on the forest detour (follow the daffodils signs) – it’s a bit steep but totally worth it. A day trip to Naoshima is very doable and totally worth it (definitely book an electric bike when you, it’s hilly, and make sure you book Chichu museum in advance).
