"Just what was needed. So peaceful."

The lodge was comfortable and the 4 poster bed a bonus. The Indian head massage was was just what was needed. So relaxing.

We wished the breakfast could have been priced seperately for each item.

Absolutely gorgeous surroundings and hosts very lovely and friendly Main bed was really comfy. Hot tub lovely and warm. Breakfast was very nice, freshly prepared and good quality. The swimming pool was brilliant, we booked an hour solo swim which is a lovely bonus thing to do. Had a couple of beauty treatments with Sarah, who is an absolute gem and very reasonably priced.

A few things were a bit tired and the shower leaked and didn't drain straight away. Can't be helped but there was an awful smell as was near the large pipe. It was a really beautiful place but i do think a few added touches, like mini toiletries would be standard.

The room was damp and smell was musty No signal for tv room not cleaned dust everywhere mould in fridge Shower not working well at all

"A cute and quirky getaway hidden in the countryside…"

Loved the pool area, especially when you hire it out privately for an hour - definitely worth it! The hot tub was also a great addition while staying here. The room was clean and quirky, with nice views overlooking the gardens. The breakfast was a lovely finish to our experience there. Lovely staff and beautiful food all freshly prepared.

Location amazing, beautiful surrounds great for peace and tranquillity. Room nice and big and plenty of privacy.

Hygiene level very very very poor. We were not keen on trying the food on site due to general hygiene of room. Strong smells coming from the furniture and bathroom, possibly sewage/drainage issues. We got the impression the room hadn’t been cleaned in sometime and this was not a days’ dust gathering, we’re talking grime and dirt.

Shower needed a new shower head. It was rubbish The T V did not work
