Wood Palace Ella

The family was very welcoming into their lovely property The room has stunning views It is about 2.5 km from the center of town so away from the city noises The owner helped us with tuk tuk rides to town And he also helped us for arranging transportation for some activities The breakfast was great. It was a really nice experience.

We didnt mind but there are lots of stairs to get to the room!

Beautiful place - the room was wow ! we slept to the sounds of the waterfall :) Bed was super comfy and the hosts so so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend !

The only drawback was the shower - no hot water in the morning and very little pressure (but we managed) :)

What a stunning location and such a friendly and kind family! The rooms are absolutely stunning and the location genuinely unbeatable. You do have to be prepared to walk up and down a large flight of stairs to benefit from that beauty but it is totally worth it. The hosting family were extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to any traveller looking for somewhere off the beaten track!

The location, the view, and the family that owns the place were fantastic. The sound of the water on the nearby creek, the birds, cicadas and monkeys, in the surrounding forest, and the fireflies blinking in the room at night were amazing.

That's an amazing place, but not for everyone. The stairs to get to the place aren't easy particularly at night as the light is too low. The water pressure on the shower was very low as wel..The rooms have no ac and rely on natural ventilation, so some bugs are expected inside

What a stunning spot! I’m the quiet and peaceful spot in Ella, away from the busy touristy place yet only 10 minutes tuk tuk to the centre! Beautiful peaceful views, you can see and hear the waterfalls and watch the birds! Heaven for photographers! The family who owns the place are so kind and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this place!
