The Penrallt Country House Hotel

Andy and his team were extremely helpful, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location was just perfect for the weekend we needed for a tranquil time. Cleanliness and amenities were excellent.

The beautiful hotel and grounds kept immaculate. Peaceful. . The welcoming friendly staff who go the extra mile with everything. Our dog friendly cottage that had everything we needed. Breakfasts were superb, and evening meals. Cooked perfectly. We liked everything !

Nothing to dislike

this was a last minute booking which was done due to a job running over. so i actually got there in the dead of night. i was met buy a polite chap who showed me to my room. he also gave me directions to the nearest shop to obtain food as there was nothing near buy and the hotel wasnt doing any thing. on waking up in the morning i was greeted to incredible views of the bay that was nice !!!

I didn't like the fact that the shower head was covered in mold and scale and the water was running brown. As business owner of a water hygiene / treatment company this is a big red flag to me. i pointed this out the next morning and it was explained that they had work done recently. id suggest you make sure your contractors flush out the water after doing hot water cylinder works. and that the room hasnt been used in a while, as a hotel you should be flushing your outlets on a regular basis.

Fantastic hotel lovely views. Amazing menu. Chef made me a special meal as didn't eat red meat and allergies it was amazing

Couldn’t find hairdryer, but if we’d enquired, I’m sure they would have supplied one.

We had the most amazing and perfect stay at Penrallt Country House Hotel for 2 nights over the New Year, which was a last minute booking. We were looking for somewhere unique, picturesque and quiet to stay and Penrallt did not disappoint. The house was beautifully decorated with xmas decorations and open log burning fires. Angela made us feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in one of the garden rooms, which had recently been refurbished to an excellent standard. The direct access from the room to a private secure garden was perfect for our dog Lola. We will definitely be back. Louise, Gareth and Lola (the dog)
