The Penrallt Country House Hotel

A country house in large grounds. Lots of wildlife. Situated not far from the beach of Aberporth. We stayed in the cottage as we had our dog with us, garden safe for her to roam and was closed in. Lovely staff, very friendly. Lovely breakfast with a warm welcome.

Slight smell of damp on pillows, only noticed when going off to sleep.

Good location.

We got a garden view looking at a bush. There was no light outside the walkway and the property which was quite dangerous to walk at night on uneven surfaces. The window was cracked and the bathroom was really cold.

The breakfast and location was lovely.

We paid for a Suite but the balcony furniture did not inspire us to sit outside. No information on how to get to the beach.

Beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean room , comfy bed. Lovely staff. Views from grounds magnificent. Quiet location.

No heating- room was freezing given a small oil heater and room not fully cleaned as crumbs could be seen on carpet under bedside table also marks on duvet cover

Beautiful main building and location. The "apartment" I stayed in was fairly clean, and in good condition. It was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and for me the highlight of my stay.

I was very disappointed that no food was being served when I arrived at 6:30pm. After 7 hours behind the wheel, the last thing I needed was to have to get back into the car to drive to a pub for dinner. Evening meals are only served Thursday - Sunday.

The evening meal and breakfast was of high standard. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

It was a cold rainy day and the room was cold.
