The property was very nice like the pictures shown.

Since it is a bit far from the center it is difficult at night to get last minute purchase. ( Snacks, drinks, etc)

Gelga and Romulo where such lovely hosts and made us feel at home directly upon arrival. The entire place is built with lots of love and attention to detail. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Cusco. We would definetly come back!

I had an amazing stay at this charming house in Cusco. It's perfectly situated next to a beautiful national park, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The house is cozy, well-maintained, and fully equipped. The owners are incredible, providing warm hospitality and great local tips. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Cusco!

"Perfect place to stay in Cusco"

10.0

We loved our stay with Romulo and Helga (and their cute pets). When we arrived from a night bus, they welcomed us straight into the kitchen and made us a delicious (complimentary) breakfast. So kind. Our room wasn’t quite ready but they allowed us to shower and rest in another room until it was - this was much before the check in time so we were really grateful for this too. The house is a little out of town but we really liked that about it. It seems far in a taxi (only 10-15 soles though) but walking the Inca trail only takes about 15-20 minutes. The house is right next to Inca ruins and Romulo took us on a walk to show us the main sights, he also gave us so much information about the local area. Helga and Romulo make a great breakfast and they put a hot water bottle in our bed every evening. Also, my laptop broke whilst I was there and they got me in touch with someone to fix it. They are wonderful hosts and we would more than happily stay here again.

We loved everything about staying here. It gets chilly at night but Helga and Romulo gave us a small heater and hot water bottles so it was actually pretty cosy in the bed.

"If you don't know where to stay, now you know!!"

10.0

We stayed 5 nights at Kosko Casa Hotel. Romulo and Helga love their work, and you can feel it straight away, they make you feel incredibly at home, with positivity and good vibes. They are full of tips about activities, and will share with you pieces of their peruvian culture that are off Radar. Dont miss going around with Romulo if you have the opportunity, you will get some extra knowledge about the area and an overview of the spirit of the place. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean, the rooms are designed with taste. It is close from most of the attractions in the surrounding of Cuszco, and from the Temple of the Moon, which is a quiet Oasis of serenity. You can also walk (not a night) on the inca way, to join the city in 20-30 min. To go there is maybe the challenging part (R&H will explain you everything), from our experience its recommended to take an Uber, its way easier, as most of the taxis dont know the ways to go in this part of town, and some doubled the price halfway. At least with Uber you will be sure they find at the right price. R & H kept our bags during our trip to the Machu Picchu, which is so helpful. Thank you friends for making our experience here memorable 🤗 🍀

Amazing family, good breakfast and nice surroundings. We received help in booking taxis to the airport and pickup locations for our excursions.

The floor from the room above us is from wood and was very noisy.

"Incredible hosts in a quaint part of Cusco"

10.0

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The owners Romulo and Helga go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The property is a bit far from Cusco city centre, but in the middle of an Inca archeological park where there are a lot of spots to explore in peace. Romulo often takes the guests out on tours of these sites, way past forbidden signs so that you have a truly unique experience which no tour agency in Cusco can offer. He has worked in tourism for a long time so is super knowledgable about the surrounding areas as well. They also have 2 beautiful dogs and a cat and a lovely little garden.

"cozy home in a magical environment"

10.0

located 200 m above cusco, amidst grass-covered plateaus & pre-inca ruins, you pass cows, horses & donkeys following the inca trail through san blas down to it's origin at plaza de armas on a miraculous 40 min walk. (uber 12 / taxi 15 soles) Helga&Rómulo +dogs Sofi&Lupo and cat Whisky are loving hosts, who made us feel welcome, cozy & home in an instant! helpful with any request they provided way more than an accomodation: a family environment wherefrom we could plan & move to happily return within our 2 weeks stay! a place where souls connect & recreate -THANK YOU ♥︎ ♥︎

"Best experience we had in Peru"

10.0

I had no idea how close this location would be to the Inka trail and so many historic ruins including the Inka trail, multiple temples and multiple historic attractions. All within walking distance. It was way up on the hill at the edge of town overlooking the city. A beautiful spot. A quick $5 Uber ride or a 20 minute walk down the hill to the main square if needed. BUT! With all that said, the best part was the staff. They were so eager to share stories, engage with my kids and I, and take us to some of the sites. Gelga would cook us a homemade breakfast and take care of our needs. Romulo would share regional history and would bring us to some of the nearby attractions, not because it was expected, but because he genuinely enjoyed doing so. He went above and beyond our expectations for the enjoyment of it. What a great experience and it was an absolute highlight for our time in Peru.
