"Great stay in the Portuguese countryside"

This property is in a quiet, peaceful area. It is off the beaten track but in a stunning location surrounded by olive, carob and orange groves. A great place to experience the Portuguese countryside. Breakfast is simple but has some great options like freshly baked breads, cakes made onsite, fresh fruits and other local specialties. The owners/staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a rustic but comfortable environment. Definitely plan to return.

The family rooms are in a separate annex a short drive away which makes it harder to enjoy the pool and deck areas which are close to the main building. Given the narrow roads in the area it is not so feasible to walk to the main building.

"Very peaceful stay in a lovely valley, one of my top stays in the Algarve."

Breakfast was excellent with a very good range of 'help yourself' cold buffet items and gave a good start to the day.. The pool area and balcony was spotlessly clean and looked very inviting but a cold northerly wind whilst I was there prevented a dip. The room was very comfortable and furnished in the traditional Portuguese style. Francisco, Joao and the staff were very kind and accommodating and did their best to make my stay enjoyable - which it was!

My only caveat was that the bathroom was rather narrow and a little dark.

"A lovely place to stay"

The location and position of the guest house were very nice and the staff very friendly.

The tapas supper was very expensive for what it was, a very small meal; we only ate there once because of that.

The breakfast was ok but the location of the breakfast setting was beautiful out on the deck.

A little closer to town. Something out of control I know.

Rustic Portugal construction. Beautiful grounds pool tennis court. Nice staff, exceptional. If you are looking for an experience you have it here. Very clean

In middle of nowhere. Difficult to get to at night. No or poor internet. TV old and didn’t work. Only portugal channels.
