Fantastic place in the rural algarve. Close to Tavira and many beaches around. Great breakfast, beautiful views and an amazing saltwater pool.

If i had to pick one thing - the beds were quite hard, a more comfortable mattress would have made the stay even better. Otherwise a great stay!

I loved how peaceful it was, the surrounding was breathtaking and the staff was super lovely.

Were were expecting much more from this Herdade and specially for the price and classification. We stayed in a room with no windows (the door had some glass windows but not the same) and no view since the door is facing a big wall. The room is far from the main building and without a fridge (it’s a must for this region). The mattress is very hard and uncomfortable, and with some cold/blue lights make the room a cold ambience. The homestead is big but not inviting for any kind of walk or visit. The breakfast is good but the coffee is terrible (for Portuguese standards). We were expecting a place with typical Portuguese charm but we were quite disappointed.

Location was great for us, well out in the countryside. A vehicle would be needed unless all the time is to be spent at the location. The rooms were basic but were clean and quite sufficiently equipped for our stay. Breakfast was good and a more than reasonable choice of items to enjoy. The pool and surrounds were attractive and would entertain families for quite some time. João - the host had a lot of time for each guest, explaining all about the hotel, rooms and location and also provided oodles of information about this area of Portugal and was on hand much of the day and evening.

The bed frame in our room and that of our friends kept catching our legs when we each walked around the bedrooms. The frame as substantially bigger than the mattress. A painful learning curve was needed to negotiate this safely!

Herdade da corte felt like a hidden game, a beautiful, peaceful setting only minutes from great beaches, towns and the hustle of the algarve. The staff are super helpful, the breakfasts wonderful and the whole experience totally relaxing.

not the end of the world but our family suite was located a short drive from the main part of the hotel which meant driving up and down with children and us being separated from the rest of our party who were in a double room by the pool. Lots of sharp edges around the room and pool area was not toddler friendly, but fine once children are steady on their feet

Peaceful farm house just 20 minutes away from Tavira

- rooms were stuffed with old things from 1990s, like a tube TV. - bad internet connection - the entire place was a bit rundown with a I don't-care-anymore-attitude

We really liked the room and the suite, in general, we liked the space and the experience. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast had a variety of options.

We really liked the room and the suite, however, the crib was not so comfortable for my baby.

Breakfast on the terrace was exceptional.

I would like to have a small kettle in the room, it would make my stay much more comfortable
