Wye Valley Lodge

Impressed by the location, space and facilities provided. We loved the views and our teenage boys loved the pool table! Communication with the host was easy and clear.

Not the host's fault, but access on the road into Symond's Yat can be tricky on busy days.

The house was spacious and in a superb position. The heating, showers, dishwasher, wi-fi and pool table were excellent.

The cooker and oven could do with updating and a few more lamps would have been good.

The property is in a fabulous location with walking from the door and 2 excellent pubs serving food again within walking distance. The property is very spacious and very comfortable especially since there were only 4 of us. Excellent value for money.

I would put some hooks on the doors for hanging towels, dressing gowns etc. There was not a lot of draw space (eg the top bedroom) but that did not matter to us.

The property is a great size for a big family get together!

The kitchen is a little dated

Perfect location, lovely family home, and great for our stay with two teenage boys. Loved the basement games room, and so nice to have a rental with big comfy sofas! Owners were great at communicating too.

The property was in a great location, with great views and within easy reach of pubs/restaurants.

The property itself was brilliant, the only minor issue was that there wasn’t a suitable garden for the dog but there were plenty of walks from the doorstep!
