There was nothing not to like about this place.

Beautiful location to watch the sunset, and watching the local people on their fishing boats and enjoying the sea! The staff around the hotel were a pleasure to be around, and attentive to all our needs.

We had a nice stay overall, but there were a few aspects that didn’t meet our expectations. Firstly, the images on the listing are misleading, as the property and rooms have changed since they were taken. While there wasn’t anything necessarily ‘wrong,’ the space was quite worn and in need of some maintenance, and it didn’t feel as luxurious as advertised. Additionally, the hotel is quite far from tourist sites, activities, and restaurants. Fortunately, we had a car, but for those without one, transport costs could add up quickly. Given the limited nearby dining options, guests may find themselves relying on the hotel restaurant, which can be expensive. While we enjoyed aspects of our stay, these factors did impact our overall experience. With some improvements and better transparency, it could be a much better experience for future guests.

This is my second stay and Chuini and it won’t be my last. I love everything about this hotel. The rooms are all bungalows and spaced out. It’s boutique size so you never feel on top of any other guests. I had one of the pools to myself every single day. I was looking for R&R on this holiday and I got it. It’s only 35 minutes from Stone Town if you want some nightlife and restaurant action. The team, led by GM Suhaila, are brilliant. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I felt so at home and welcome, which was lovely as a solo traveller. The food in the restaurant is delicious. There is a lovely spa for a great massage and other treatments. At low tide you can go for walks along the beach and at high tide it’s a few steps down into the water. I love the style and the decor - all white/sun bleached wood vibes.

L’hôtel a un potentiel énorme, il est vraiment au bord d’une falaise c’est très joli.

Le personnel au top mais deux trois choses m’ont déplues pour le prix payé je trouve que c’est assez dérangeant pour avoir fait plusieurs hôtels j’ai vraiment vu la différence. De plus il y a eu une coupure de courant dans la nuit et de 00h à 4h du matin un moteur a pris le relais ce qui nous a empêché de dormir puisque nous étions placés juste derrière la réception. Je l’ai signalé mais aucune réponse de la part de l’hôtel.

Ich hatte eine Verletzung, der Doktor kam ins Hotel mit Injektionen und allem…, innert kürzester Zeit. Super organisiert! Ich war so dankbar. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Internet hat nicht immer funktioniert. Mehrmals waren gewisse Essenszutaten ausgegangen, was schade war.
