Kings Head Hotel

Breakfast was good as expected.

Evening meal also good but on the second night they ran out of food. The shower trap needed cleaning, the shower tiles also needed cleaning.

Stayed overnight having attended a wedding it was fine for what we needed , missed breakfast

Location was well kept had private parking at rear

Our second day the food wasn’t as well cooked as 1st day even tho was same chef but I’d still return

Lovely quirky little pub, food was fabulous, great service, staff very friendly warm and welcoming , the rooms were spacious and the bed was lovely and comfortable, would definitely visit again.

The only thing I would change is the brightly painted rooms, the rooms would be perfect if they were painted a nice warm neutral colour.

The room is in desperate need of modernising. The hearing was on permanently and we couldn’t have the windows open as the cats came in and I had dogs. The beds were not really comfortable and the room was too hot.

Area staff Food . Excellent. And service. Just lovely friendly hotel .very good with dogs beer garden very nice. Would definitely go.back stay again. .

Looks abit tired in hotel needs re decorating in areas . Our little room in the bath room .needed updating . Pub lounge . Needs updating too .new carpet .public toilets need some work .

Staff absolutely amazing couldn't do enough, food very good we had a cooked full English breakfast and that evening had fish and chips and the batter was to die for, and ideal location to tour around north Yorkshire

The owner of the hotel needs to spend some money to upgrade the facilities the whole hotel is tired. Whilst our room was basically clean little thing like dirty light shade and tired carpet and having to prop open the window using a plastic bottle didn't give a good impression
