The hotel was in an excellent location. Bar and staff were lovely 😊

The room was clean and tidy, and towels and toiletries were provided. The beach was just across from the hotel. There was also a bar and a restaurant in the hotel.

The wall handle was feeble and if we had relied on that for support to go down the few stairs leading to our room we have fallen. This is an important safety issue and should be attended immediately (our room was 223). Also, some paint had chipped off the wall and was on the carpet, this should have been cleaned and the wall should be repainted. We paid 90.48 which we found too much in comparison to the amenities, the price should have been around 60 pounds.

The Hotels location was great, being on the sea front. We only had breakfast once, as it had to be ordered the night before, but the one we did have was ok.

The supposed 'Deluxe' room was anything but deluxe, more like 'Dilapidated'. The room itself was the smallest possible Twin room ever. It had 2 windows only 1 of which was working. Of the 2 curtains, 1 was falling off the rail. The beds were very small, which made them difficult to sleep on (Ok for small children). The furniture in the room was very old and needed replacing. The ensuite was narrow and dated and in dire need of an upgrade. As the room was roughly south facing, from early morning onwards it was heated by bright sunshine and it was impossible to get the room cool due to lack of good ventilation or cooling. This and the bed size meant that a good nights sleep was impossible. When we queried the 'Deluxe' status of the room with a manager, he was rude and dismissive, stating that the hotel wasn't responsible for the room grades and therefore nothing could be done. Access to the room was very convoluted and at first confusing, with room numbers not following a logical sequence and very poorly signed.

Our family suite was on ground floor. Clean room, comfort beds. Our child had room adjacent with clean comfortable bunk beds. Slightly dated decor. But good TV in main bedroom, good shower & clean bathroom.

Limited time for dinner/ breakfast. . But not really an issue as local bars serve meals in evening. . Breakfast after 10am. .
