The location is very good - right next to the river. Perfect for early morning walks and a dip in the Ganga. But more than that is the staff - Honey is super hospitable and helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Just having some storage in the room, but that is a minor things. Also, maybe a signboard somewhere while walking to the hotel.

Location of property and how clean the property is the best thing about it. Honey the property caretaker is of amazing help... He has everything we needed arranged in no time.

There could be a phone in the room to connect... Breakfast options would be put to good use

Honey really makes this hotel amazing, he is a genuine lovely man and his dinners and breakfasts are very tasty and very well presented. If I owned a hotel, then Honey is exactly the person I would want working for me, he is very polite, kind and very helpful, other guests loved him aswell, he is very good at his job. The view from the terrace overlooking the Ganges was a great place to have Honeys lovely breakfast.

By European standards, the room and bathroom needs decorating and making nicer, there needs to be more storage for customers to keep their clothes and possessions in.

The host Honey was delightful, and true to his name 'he was very sweet' Ever so helpful, prepared the most delicious breakfasts, arranged activities and teansportation. It was also close to the Ganga, the bizzars. Thank you Honey, and everyone, all champions!

Buny the bloke who looks after the place, got us our breakfast and evening meals. These were lovely and sat on the balcony over looking the ganges in a very local setting. Saw all kite flyers and local people going about their business right around you. Great environment Buny went to the shop for us and got us beers which he kept in the fridge , which was nice.

Tuk tuk from station couldn't find the place. Found it eventually down a dirty little alley full of cow dung and other deposits. Got key then got ordered to stay in room and not come out for 20 mins and had someone guard there, not nice experience, bizarre. Sat on roof terrace at only table, just finished breakfast and got ordered to move off the table and roof terrace as Buny and his friend were going to sit there, again, bizarre. Paid 1200 to airport even though uber was 700, had to then pay driver extra 180 to drop us at departures Due to property location would never find it or be able to get down the alleys as walking and motorbikes only. On reaching the main road we discovered it has no pavements at all and waiting there for a taxi would not be an option.

The room is clean, but...

there are no windows. Given m2 are unreal. Max. is 12 m2 and the bed takes half of it. Very narrow, very basic eqpmt. No mirror in toilet. . No chance to shave. Hardly there is space to move. No isolation. Can hear every word from other rooms. Rather noisy till late night. Stairs are a challenge. At least there is a terrace, but the views are shameless. Access to the homestay from chaotic mainroad is narrow, dark and dirty. Hard to advance with luggage. Owners fixed on money making. Transport from a/p was offered for 1200 INR whereease driver got 850 and owners took 350 for themeselves. Watch out for fake ratings. Suppose they are written by fake customers. Disapointing all over. But probably an average local standard.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was really good.

There was an end table only on one side of the bed. I would also warn that despite the pictures in the listing, some of the rooms have no window to the outside, only to the hallway. But when we arrived and realized we had no window, the staff let us move to a room with a balcony that happened to be available. No view, but at least some air from outside.

I really had wonderful experience with River stay hotel 🙏😊. The place was very beautifully decorated , clean and friendly environment….This hotel is centre place to visit ghats and temples 🙏 ...Honey bhaiya is really a wonderful person who took care of us like a family 😊…. Thank you very much honey bhaiya 🙏 …… I highly suggest all to visit this hotel to have divine memorable trip 😊 ….
