"Very comfortable and big room"

What a lovely room, set in such a peaceful location! We really enjoyed our time there, and it was great to have an outdoor seating area. The owners were easy to communicate with and gave us a warm welcome. The room is big and nicely decorated. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower.

As others have mentioned, cooking is not as straightforward as we would have liked. We would have preferred one or two portable hot plates alongside the microwave rather than having all of the other appliances.

"Cute bees!"

The Hive is in a quiet rural setting. You would need a car to get there. We could park on the property near our studio. Instructions on how to find it were easy to follow. The Hive is beautifully decorated with a bee theme. It was comfortable. There were plenty of power points and USB ports. With a bit of minor furniture rearrangement we fitted all our luggage in.

The kitchen area had a kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric frypan and airfryer but no oven or hotplates. We weren't expecting hotplates or an oven, so brough food that didn't need them.

The room was exceptional with everything you need. It is situated so central and in a very quiet location. Watching the wildlife inspired me to write music. Thank you for allowing me to visit this wonderful stay.

The whole place was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. The whole experience of staying at 'The Hive' was excellent. I would recommend 'The Hive' to anyone who is looking for a place that's well catered for and in the perfect location.

Quiet location, lots of equipment and utensils. Owners attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. Good shower. Good value for money.

Nothing, it was perfect for a 1 night stay in order to go hill walking early the next morning.
