Brilliant host and amazing stay at Perth! Always helpful, the accommodation was clean and tidy, ready for the stay. All information was given beforehand including access to the location and hosts numbers. Could not fault this place at all, highly recommended!

We love the location not to far from perth but just enough out the way to feel tranquil. The wee cats were a bonus had a wee clap and loved seeing the duck and chickens out the back of the cottage.

Just to be informed that there was work being done in the garden area for new areas to stay. Wasn't the prettiest to see out the window but understand they can't have visitors not staying.

It was immaculate with a very comfy bed & a wonderous shower; the host was friendly but not intrusive. It was all on one level which was useful for my Wife's mobility issues. Dog friendly with a thoughtful box.

Would've been nice to have a couple of comfy chairs or a sofa for watching TV but it was manageable. We had booked a dog in & it no fee was applied but there was a fee payable (very kindly waived - see what follows) but Booking.com had not relayed our booking request to the host at all!

The Hive has everything you could need and it’s beautifully laid out and finished. Wide open countryside in front and chickens at the back. Perfect.

Joyce was a superb host who was keen to ensure our two night stay was as relaxed and as comfortable as possible. Both Joyce and Alan were approachable, friendly, and keen to provide information about the accommodation, local area, and range of activities in the immediate and wider area. The Hive is located just a ten minute drive outside of Perth, giving the opportunity to be in a beautiful rural setting, whilst retaining easy access to major services and supermarkets. The location also means it’s easy to use as a base to explore all that Perthshire has to offer (scenic drives, walks, cycling tracks, stunning scenery, etc.) The accommodation is spotlessly clean, carefully maintained and well stocked with basic cooking utensils to ensure quick meals can be prepared. We had a wonderful sleep on the comfy bed and pleasantly surprised with the effective shower unit, which was both hot and had great pressure.
