Alan and Joyce were very friendly and accommodating.

Not the fault of the property but there was no pavement to walk on to get into Stanley so we always took the car.

Beautiful property and a nice bee theme. Had everything we could need and well thought out.

Despite the efforts of our hosts we had no WiFi/broadband and therefore no TV to watch as we unwound from our travels each day. Not a huge problem though. Slight lack of privacy due to the close proximity of the hosts living right next door and yet hosts were not intrusive at all. Slight confusion re our departure date but fixed quickly.

Great location, very quiet and relaxing but close to amenities and a great base for exploring Perthshire. The hosts were attentive and friendly but also gave us our space and privacy. The Hive was amazingly well equipped, we really didn’t need to take anything except us and our clothes! The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. We very much enjoyed our couple of nights here.

Only one small issue - the TV wouldn’t work but this was completely out of the hosts control and it was actually a good thing as we read books and talked to each other! But maybe just be aware that the location is pretty rural and internet and phone signal can be a bit hit and miss. Worth staying just for that 😉😊

Well appointed. Tastefully decorated. Superb bathroom. Joyce and Alan are most pleasant, helpful and informative hosts. The property is delightful. Loved the pets, too!

Seating was not really all that comfortable nor even functional. Cooking wasn’t straightforward - no oven and the microwave was difficult to operate. A fan would be helpful on the warm days, rare though they may be.
