Industrial Escape - Kelham Island, Free Parking & Walkable Bars

This place is cheaply built felt like we were in a construction / uncompleted building. The room in the attic was extremely hot and the stairs was so unsafe to climb it’s a massive health and safety hazard. The hot way in the shower doesn’t work consistently. Going from extremely hot to extremely cold.

Good space and close to key areas in Sheffield.

The third attic room needed improvement as there's no light switch, no window and no handrails, up a rather steep staircase.

Was double booked meant we ended up missing our bottomless brunch didn’t make the night enjoyable overall.

Just not happy with the way we got messed about.

The high ceiling were beautiful and the coziness of the lights and sofa

Nothingggg! It was sooo perfect

Really good location, 3 minute walk to the nearest tram stop which was a few stops to the University. We stayed to attend a graduation ceremony, 4 adults and a 3 year old. Rooms were big enough and comfy enough for us all. Kitchen/living room was spacious and had plenty of seating. Tv had Netflix, iPlayer etc. There were some welcome goodies for when we arrived- biscuits, chocolates, bottled water, crisps, which was nice. Communication before arrival was good, with details and pictures of parking, access etc.

The loft room can get really hot, and it’s difficult to cool down (there is a fan but it is noisy!) and the living room can get chilly! There is some traffic noise, especially at rush hour as it’s right near a main road. The main noise that bugged us was the squeaky lounge, bedroom and bathroom doors! Stairs can be slippy when cold/wet, not anything that can be helped but worth being aware of! There’s no mirrors in the bedrooms, or by a plug socket, which made getting ready a little difficult. Rug could do with replacing in the lounge as we tripped a few times, especially little one.
