The Barn

Excellent location. Close to York but not in York. Bus stop outside the gate and 20 mins into the city. Very good facilities and everything worked and was well maintained. Clean and tidy throughout. Nice to have milk butter coffee etc upon arrival. All in all a good spot. And a decent parking spot, unlike some other cottages I've been to.

The train a couple of times an hour right there. It is the old station cottage after all...

Good value accommodation. Great communication from Stan. Place is very clean. Lovely garden for our dog. Really comfortable bed. Parking outside the accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Equipped to very high standard, spotlessly clean, nice welcome pack, easy to get into York.

It's overinsulated, and the weather being hot, the bedroom was stifling. If you open the windows, you get train noise. There is a fan though. A rat scuttled through the garden when we were sitting out.

Well equipped home from home

Great stay, the house was lovely and clean. The welcome pack was very welcome. Nice shops and pubs nearby.

It's is a lovely place and the extra touches or milk, crumpets, butter and jam, made our morning thank you 😊
