The Barn

The Barn was very nice and had everything we needed. It was perfectly situated for visiting family who live locally. It was nice to sit outside in the garden in the sunshine which is secluded. It was also a novelty to look out the upstairs window and watch the barrier come down and the trains pass. The trains only produced a slight rumble and weren’t frequent so it wasn’t a problem at all. Will be back again.

In a perfect location on the edge of Haxby village with a steady 20 minute walk to shops & pubs serving great food Easy access into York city centre by bus directly outside so no issues with finding somewhere to park The Barn has everything you need for a short or longer break, fully equipped kitchen, nice little garden area, lovely and clean with its own parking area & dog friendly We loved it

Barn is a great place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Good location. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stop again.

We stayed at The Barn for a couple of nights and loved it! Unfortunately we went the weekend a storm hit York, but honestly the place was so cozy we didn’t mind at all. We loved the Christmas tree in the place - we thought it was such a homely touch. A minute walk away from the bus station that goes into York, comfortable bed and equipped with everything one might need - we would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Stan for a lovely weekend away!

The barn was very warm and clean. We had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Great shower. We were happy with everything.

The barn is one of the best places I have stopped in haxby Ideale for a walk into haxby Village where there are nice pubs and shops. Bus stops right outside so you can go into York or catch the bus to Wiggington. Great location and will be going back

Kitchen a little lacking in knives, glasses and cutlery.
