The Nook Lincoln

Perfect location, a great little home from home.

Only minor issue was the high-up bed which was a little tricky for the kids (albeit one of them loved the adventure of it!).

A perfectly placed, beautiful little cottage.

We stayed at The Nook for 7 nights over Christmas and we loved it. The cottage was warm, clean and comfortable and we felt very safe there. There's an entry code into the cottage and a key fob which we used after that. It’s situated in a fantastic location with bars, restaurants, cafes and shopping right on the doorstep and is surprisingly very quiet at night. It's just minutes’ walk from the train and bus station and is at the bottom of the straight, next to a small car park. When we arrived, on a cold, misty day and let ourselves in, the lamps were on, music was playing low and the cottage was warm and cozy, it was such a lovely welcome. We like to eat out and cook for ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Though the building is historical, it's beautifully kept and has every modern appliance needed and a lot of thought has been put into making guests' stay as comfortable as possible. The bed was lovely and comfy too. David, the owner, who we found really pleasant and helpful was happy to answer all our queries, quite quickly, before and during our stay and we appreciated the goodies which he left for us and the Christmas decorations which made the cottage look magical. We are very happy to recommend The Nook and we'll certainly look forward to booking there again the next time we stay in Lincoln. Thank you so much David.

Beautifully presented terraced cottage, fully equipped with everything you would need for our short or a long stay. Nicely decorated and furnished with original features and modern contraptions. Location was ideal for our exploration of the city.

We absolutely loved the whole house was brilliant cosy warm good location .. so happy will come again

Not the owners fault at all but would on recommend for families with babies (unless they sleep through anything!) on a Saturday night it was so loud from the pub next door. But wouldn’t put me off we was fine

Delightful cottage, small but has everything you need.

We only could find 1 spare loo roll, so went and bought one as we ran out.

Super cute home ...clean... close to the historical area and David was a super host!

The only thing is nothing to do with the house inside and nothing the host can do :/ ..but there are to many lound clubs with lound people and bad lound musik that goes all passed 2 am cos I could not sleep :/
