NAGI Lake Como Apartment

The property had great amenities. The host was kind. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

The walk to the apartment is quite tricky and not easy to find at night. The apartment is a one bedroom and one lounge with a sleeper couch.

This apartment is in a beautiful location with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. However, there is a 212 step climb to reach it so it is for the fit and healthy prepared to carry luggage up these. There is actually only one bedroom with a queen size bed but in general the facilities are good. There are only limited shops nearby so it is worth stopping on your way if you want some supplies. For us the views from the balcony and the peaceful position made it worth the climb. Parking is a pain, it is limited. We parked at the bottom of the funicular railway (white spaces seem to be the general public ones) but it is very limited.

Our check-in was not ideal. On the day we were travelling we received an email saying that we needed to send passport details before the check in details would be released. We did not see this until just before arrival as we were driving. The email should be sent at least a day before. We then could not get hold of the host to get the key safe code. 2 hours later we got the code and carried out luggage up the 212 steps only to find the key safe empty. By now a storm had started so both us and our luggage were getting soaked. The cleaning lady arrived after 20 more minutes. Having let us in she then had to clean the apartment. She was lovely but not an ideal start to our stay.

It was a shame about the building work going on. It did spoil the view having two huge cranes right in front of our balcony. Would have been nice to be told there was building work going I.

The property was equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and snacks. The view was fantastic and the apartment itself was in an amazing location.

The only downside to the property would be the construction happening in front. However this wouldn’t stop me recommending or staying there again.

Small cosy apartment. kitchen well equipped. stunning view over lake. Host offers a fee liable bag packing service.

Directly across the balcony a larger rd 150 meter long and noisy construction area is located at the lakeside. Start work at 7.00 am. including Saturday! Site may last a while at least during whole KY 2023. Hampers view onto lake and recovery is highly limited during working hours.
