Modern garage conversion, very good supply of useful kitchen accessories I.e. kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, fan.

Lack of effort by the owners to make the unit ‘feel’ clean and cared for. The outside still has the original scruffy garage door, possibly to hide the fact that it hides a new secret venture?My main grouse is the bed. Very soft due to the inner springs having collapsed. Most alarming was the fact that as I was lying in bed I could feel ‘detritus’ under the top sheet! Looking underneath the sheet, the mattress had hundreds of ‘bobbles’ on it. It suggests to me that it has never been cleaned or vacuumed. The shower glass was still dirty from previous use and only one medium size towel supplied.

Spotlessly clean

Location was fine for me. Bed was comfortable.

I couldn't lock my door at night from inside. A 3" bolt could have been fitted. No reading lamp near bed only spotlights in the ceiling and switch by door. Room very damp smelling from not being aired before my arrival. No bath mat so floor slippy getting out of shower, had to use towel provided, not ideal. Bottom fitted sheet much too big for the bed so very rucked up. Very noisy late evening from people running up stairs by bedroom wall. All easy fixes to make stay much better.
