The Hall Estate - Historic Grade I-listed Jacobean Mansion

Incredible building, great location. We had the Moulton room, very beautiful, calming room. Great welcome pack. Would highly recommend.

Slight niggle…. We couldn’t work out which room we were in as there were two rooms with envelopes outside with ‘guest’ written on them. Appreciate confidentiality is a concern but initials would suffice. Also understanding where the archery lawn is so you can access the gate. Like I say very slight niggles

Lack of a sink in the room to fill kettle clean plates cups … en-suite out of room down a private corridor

So close to the centre of town but felt very private & secluded. Gorgeous grounds & the room itself was wonderful, absolutely massive with a very comfortable bed. Everything has been so well considered with good quality tea & coffee, a big fridge for quests to use & a continental breakfast provides, also nice toiletries & robes/slippers for guests. We had a fantastic stay, thank you

The code to get into the main door was a bit tricky, but we worked it out in the end

So much attention to detail and a beautiful room

La chambre était grande et magnifique. Petit déjeuner très sympa. Le chocolat chaud et les deux bouteilles de vin également.

Le personnel est absent à l’arrivée, ce qui est okay mais ne dit pas non plus bonjour le matin et sonne 15mn avant l’heure du check out.

Room was unique and amazing - great location too with the reatraunts and pubs a few minutes walk away.

The location of the property was perfect, just a short walk into the town. The building is truly impressive, full of character and charm. Welcome pack included biscuits, milk, wine, tea, coffee etc; and was much appreciated. The room itself was huge , it had plenty of room and storage for clothes and travel accessories. The bed was comfortable and the en suite bathroom facilities were clean. I would highly recommend a stay at The Hall. We will definitely be back and look forward to spending another wonderful couple of days in this magnificent home.
