Royal Hideaway Playacar All-Inclusive Adults Only Resort

Nuestra estancia fue maravillosa, de ensueño. Todo el personal fue muy simpático, atento y dispuesto. La limpieza es un aspecto que valoramos muchísimo y no pudo haber sido mejor, además nos agradaron mucho los amenities proporcionados.

Quizás podríamos puntualizar que la cama era un poquito blanda, pero es algo muy sutil, y que va en los gustos de cada persona.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Set in lovely gardens with lots of wildlife. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Lots of wardrobe storage. Housekeeping staff very good. Restaurants are all good and staff are lovely. Must book though. Breakfast very good spread. Hotel is set right on the gorgeous beach and plenty of sun beds are available there. Small pools in grounds are lovely and not used much. We appreciated them when we wanted real peace and quiet. Check-in quick and easy. Nice guy who checked us in (Carlos). We stayed in villa 23. Didn’t find our concierge overly friendly or helpful but Alberto from a neighbouring villa was great. So cheerful and helpful. There does seem to be an issue around the main pools. One is unheated and doesn’t get used. The other has all reserved sun beds (mainly for suite guests) around it so unless you qualify for a reservation you can’t have a bed there. Didn’t matter to us as we prefer the gorgeous beach but some people weren’t happy about it. Anyway, the definitive test:- I’d always be happy to return here (this was our second visit).

Bathrooms definitely need updating. We were here 8 years ago and there doesn’t appear to have been any work carried out during that time. Really do need a refurb. Whirlpool on Bath didn’t work. Not an issue for us but could be for some. Some of the toilets in public areas are leaking water from the flush lever. Not dirty water but still a bit off putting. Very small thing but there are no spoons available at breakfast. You have to request one. Why????

El hotel es una maravilla. Nos gustó todo, la playa, los restaurantes, las habitaciones, los jardines, la ubicación y la amabilidad del personal. Realmente un gran hotel.

The restaurant and bar close to the pool. The place was well manicured.

The 2.5 hour check in. Furthermore upon complaining about a substandard dinner at their 5 star restaurant and receiving a different meal, I was served a carbonara with rancid bacon grease. As a restaurant kitchen builder I know the difference between todays grease and one from the honeypot bucket that gets dumped weekly. This was intentional poisoning that made me ill for three days. Upon complaining to many different managements I received zero feedback that this heinous act was rectified. Additionally we had to leave the resort to eat when they couldnt accommodate our group on the first night. Why pay for an all inclusive? We had four rooms and none of the refers worked, nor was there an ice machine.

Fui para mi luna de miel y fue una experiencia inolvidable. El personal muy amable y atento, los restaurantes con comida deliciosa, y las instalaciones bien cuidadas y limpias. No te arrepentirás de visitar este hotel.

Meget lækkert, super flotte omgivelser og man kunne se at der bliver gjort noget ud af det.

Vi oplevede få gange at det vi var blevet lovet ikke blev overholdt. F.eks. var der fuldt booket på en af restauranterne, men pga det var nytår havde de en special menu som vi kunne få leveret på en af de andre restauranter. Vi blev bekræftet at dette kunne lade sig gøre 2 gange. Da det så kom til aftenen var det ikke muligt og vi måtte nøjes med standard meget - det var vi meget ærgerlige over. Derudover var det ikke alle tjenere som var lige opmærksomme på os, specielt ved morgenmaden.
