Kivasti sisustustettu perussiisti asunto ja parveke. Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyy mukavaan lomaan kahdelle aikuiselle. Sijainti erinomainen: lyhyt kävelymatka keskustaan ja silti vuokra-autolle oma tallipaikka ja helppo liittyä pihasta isommalle tielle.

Koska asunnossa ei ole tiskikonetta oli osa astioita likaisia. Astioita voisi lisätä ja päivittää. Sohva nuhjuinen. Autotalli on vähän haastava, mutta ei mahdoton, kun autolla täysarvovakuutus :D

Owner met us at the airport and took us to the property, on the way he gave us a small tour of the area, pointing out useful shops and offered recommendations on restaurants. He also recommended to use Bolt for taxi's if needed - far cheeper than a taxi.. This appartment in a a quiet area of town but you feel like you get to see the true Funchal as the walk into town takes you past local sports centres and colleges as well as art galleries and bars. The apartment itself has a lovely covered veranda, perfect for breakfast, relaxing and reading or evening drinks prior to a walk into town.

It was a lovely stay, close to the city center. Marcos, the host, is very nice and reacts quickly if you need anything. Madeira is wonderful and would 100% recommend this apartment.

Die Wohnung war wirklich überkomplett ausgestattet, besonders in der Küche hat absolut nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist sehr malerisch über der Stadt, man konnte sogar die Kreuzfahrtschiffe im Hafen sehen. Der Tiefgaragenplatz fürs Auto ist sehr praktisch, der Aufzug geht dann gleich zum Appartement. Die Zufahrt zur Tiefgarage ist zwar sehr steil, aber mit etwas Übung gut zu meistern.

The apartment had all the facilities we required for our six nights stay in Funchal. It was spotlessly clean and its top floor position meant it was proportionately very quiet, bearing in mind its close proximity to the Old Town with its array of great restaurants. From the start of the booking procedure, communication with Marcos was excellent. Marcos was a friendly, helpful and courteous host.

The only slight drawback was the private underground car parking, which could present a challenge for a less confident driver. Having said that, given the first class local bus service, there is little need to rent a car for a visit to Funchal.
