Cathy and Allan are the kindest hosts! The house is spacious, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast is omnifarious and yummy. Had a great stay!

The property -- located in the charming village of Ballater--and and the room were lovely. Accommodations were spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. Hostess Cathy was very helpful, and a delight to chat with. Highly recommend.

The building was lovely - with an interesting history. The owners, Cathy and Alan, were lovely; both very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very large with very comfortable beds and lovely soft bedding. Facilities were great and breakfast was excellent, with Cathy really wanting to make sure we had a good experience and that our meal was suitable for each one of us - we really couldn't fault the whole stay - thank you!

Two towels per guest over 3 nights would have been useful

The hosts were wonderful. The room was large and comfortable. 2 bedside cabinets with drawers, a clothes rail for hanging, a dining table for your breakfast (which is brought to your room The night before). This worked brilliantly as you choose when to eat it and no waiting about. A small fridge is provided that not only accommodates some of your breakfast and milk (which is provided by the host) but also has room for food you would like to put in. Shower is very powerful and hot. Location is only a 5 minutes walk from the town centre and all amenities. Car parking at the rear of the property.

A little more storage but that is just a personal preference.

Comfortable, cozy, with private parking and close to local restaurants. Delightful hosts.
