Harte and Garter

The Room we were assigned had no proper seating although there was a dressing table, the hot water in the bathroom was slow and hardly any water came out, I could not a have a proper shave. On top of all of this above we were woken up at 0325 in the morning because of people coming back to a room late after being out, they were knocking on the room door loudly next to us and talking loudly! When checking out on the morning, the receptionists attitude was not of much concern to say the least. The answer we got was it happens every Friday night, there is a nightclub just at the back of us, sorry about that! Over all the price for a room we paid in the centre of Windsor wasn't too bad, but needless to say we will not stay there again!

Views are something else stunning hotel is comfortable and perfect location for Windsor close to everything we booked a luxury room but it was very basic and a little outdated but price was very competitive wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a fantastic room with I think the best view of the castle. My son has Special Needs and they gave us a wet room bathroom and we were on the first floor which really helped as well. Best experience ever in Windsor.

Lovely surroundings for a family stay over. Convenient for a stop over between Legoland and Thorpe Park :)

Excellent will definitely be back again, shops and the castle within walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and a good size

Got cancelled on us, close to trip

Lovely position, great for walking and shopping. Lots of places to eat. Staff friendly although never answer the phone or email. The room was clean however, the windows were broken and we were a bit afraid they might fall out because the wood was so rotten. Shower was dreadful, very dated room which really needs a complete overhaul.

We booked a luxury room with a view of the castle which was stunning. The room itself was huge and the king size bed really comfy. We also had air conditioning! The bathroom had also been refurbished and we had a huge bath and separate shower. There were just a few things re cleaning, dust under the huge mirror being one (could see handprints) and also just a few touches of paint in places would have helped. The carpet on the communal stairs is also worn. Also be warned if staying at the front of the hotel you will hear the bin lorries from 6 am but only for a short time. But don’t let this put you off staying here, we got a huge lovely room in a charming old building at a great price with an amazing view in a wonderful location. The staff were also lovely.
